Project Coordinator

Position Summary

As a Project Coordinator, you will be a key organizational force in managing and overseeing the administrative aspects of our projects. Your role involves coordinating project schedules, resources, and information, liaising between project teams and departments, and ensuring that project tasks are completed on time and within budget. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Job Type: Full Time with some overtime when required.
Salary Range: $40,000-$55,000 Annual Salary Range

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Scheduling and Planning: Assist in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met.
2. Resource Coordination: Coordinate resources, equipment, and information necessary for project execution.
3. Communication Facilitation: Act as a liaison between project teams, departments, and external partners to ensure clear communication and collaboration.
4. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, reports, and project tracking updates.
5. Budget and Expense Tracking: Assist with budget tracking and expense reporting, ensuring projects remain within financial constraints.
6. Meeting Organization: Organize and facilitate project meetings, including preparing agendas and following up on action items.
7. Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any administrative problems that arise during the project lifecycle.
8. Support Project Managers: Provide direct administrative support to project managers and team leaders.

General / Operations Manager

Position Summary

Reporting to the Owner/ President, the Manager is responsible for the safe and reliable manufacturing
and on-time delivery of products and services to customers and ensures that business objectives are
met for all operations. The Manager oversees all operations, including safety, estimating & sales,
drafting & engineering, production, project management and field services, ensuring unity,
accountability, and responsibility of each role. Other critical responsibilities include fostering an
engaged, people focused culture, controlling costs and overheads, inventory, tracking metric’s and
developing future leaders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of direct management/ leadership experience in manufacturing environment with
  proven record or positive accomplishments in safety, quality, productivity, cost and people
  development
• 5+ years at a senior level position with manufacturing/ construction responsibilities including
  profit and loss responsibility
• Experience with cabinetry, millwork and/ or commercial interiors a major plus, however not
  required
• Outstanding teaming and interpersonal skills that effectively engage teams to meet business
  goals and ensure successful networking within the region, the wood products industry, and the
  company as needed
• Strong business and financial acumen with proven track record of managing company P&L
• Experience working in ERP/ MRP programs
• Demonstrated ability to raise performance by building and maintaining positive relationships
  with all associates and leaders through coaching, development and instilling a continuous
  improvement mindset
• Proven record to effectively engage associates in behavior-based safety techniques
• Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and electronic communication skills

Materials Coordinator

Position Summary

Using the Companies ERP software, they will be responsible for sourcing, ordering, tracking materials and inventory for the production department. Responsible for maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating terms and ensuring that materials are delivered on time and on budget. In addition, they will be responsible for managing inventory levels and developing strategies for reducing waste, improving efficiency and improving material management systems and processes

Qualifications

Principal Duties / Responsibilities

• Work with and support Production Manager in the procurement and management of raw materials and inventory
• Ensure that orders are placed on time, materials are delivered on time, and materials are stored properly
• Monitoring material inventories to ensure that the correct quantities of materials are always on hand
• Ordering new materials when inventory is low or when materials are no longer usable due to defects or damage
• Track vendor returns, damaged materials
• Check incoming materials for any defects or flaws that may need to be addressed prior to use in manufacturing
• Coordinating with suppliers to arrange for delivery of raw materials or finished products
• Maintain up-to-date records of all materials in the warehouse
• Develop and improve inventory management systems
• Ensure that all materials are properly labeled and stored in the correct location
• Conduct regular inventory checks to identify any shortages or overages
• Coordinate with production manager to place orders for new supplies as needed
• Track shipments of incoming and outgoing materials to ensure accuracy
• Report any damage or discrepancies to supervisor immediately
• Develop necessary internal and external relationships to successfully manage projects to meet or exceed customer expectations
• Build and maintain product libraries and BOM in ERP software
• Continue to evolve, including learning and adapting to software advancements, process and procedures
• Keep detailed records of purchases, inventory and returns
